HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!

I bought these cute costumes for Charger and Zoey at a craft fair called
"Red Barn" in Kirksville. They were only $5.00! Such a good find!

Charger is Woody from Toy Story and Zoey is Tinkerbell!
They didn't have any matching ones in their size!

Charger hates his hat... but it's so cute!

haha. I think this picture is so funny!

I had to get Zoey from the back. The wings are so cute!

You're Gonna Miss This!

When Matt got accepted to ATSU and we decided that is where we wanted to go, I was definitely proud of him! I was so excited that his dream of being a doctor and helping people was beginning to happen; However, sometimes I would find myself wondering what the heck I had gotten myself into. Kirksville is halfway across the country, We are going to be without family and friends, and everything we are so comfortable with in St. George. How could I know that we could be happy together in this town we know so little about. Would we fit in in Kirksville? Would I be able to make friends? Would i ever get to see my wonderful husband? Is moving that far away really worth it?... After all of the questioning and little doubts I had, I can definitely say yes. It is worth it! It has been one of the hardest things I have ever done for sure but I really will miss this time in our lives. Matt and I are getting to know each other in ways that I don't think we could have without moving, we have been out of our comfort zones a lot and it has made us grow, we are so blessed! Everything has fallen into place perfectly for us, I can't believe how much I really do love it here. The words in Trace Adkins songs say it perfectly:

" You're gonna miss this, you're gonna want this back, you're gonna wish these days, hadn't gone by so fast, these are some good times, so take a good look around, you may not know it now, but you're gonna miss this"

A few things I adore about Kirksville...

The beautiful sunsets...

Gorgeous Lakes, Rivers, Trees and nature overall...

The fun project nights and the time I have to make "crafty things"
and cook good food for my hubby.

The naps I take with my sweet puppies....

Our Neighborhood and awesome Neighbors!!

I will miss our friends, the Nauvoo temple, Our ward family, the sweet sunbeams,
The Manhattan (a good resturant in town), Thousand Hills State Park and Reflections (my work) and the girls that works there. I am so grateful for this experience and for the opportunities we have been given.

Sunbeam Class!

Matt and I got callings last week. We teach the cute sunbeam class together! It is the funnest calling, the kids are so cute and smart! We are so lucky to have such a great ward and class!

We are in the Kirksville 2nd ward and are in the Nauvoo, Illinois stake! We love our ward so much! The church is amazing out here. We are so grateful that we have the Gospel in our lives. The people we have met through our ward are amazing.
Moving has made me incredibly grateful to have the gospel in my life. I just feel so lucky to know that no matter where we move and no matter what changes we have in our lives, the Gospel is always the same, and my Heavenly Father will always be here for me.

Matt's White Coat Ceremony

Well, Matt is officially a Medical student at ATSU and I am so proud of him! He has worked so hard to get here and definitely deserves it! We were fortunate enough to have Matt's parents and Grandma come and spend the week with us, and we had so much fun with them. They do so much for us. We are so blessed! Matt starts school Monday and he can hardly wait! As for me, I got my Missouri Cosmetology license on Thursday so I can finally start work on Tuesday! YAY! Things have been going so perfectly, we have so many friends in kirksville already! Fabulous neighbors, we couldn't have asked for things to go any smoother for us! We absolutely love it!
